Week 1...

Day 1:
Well, we are off to a good start. I woke up motivated!  Though, I'm feeling sick today, so no workout for me. The plus side of feeling sick is I have no appetite, so I won't be binge eating all of the food in the house.  

I still need to do my research on good workout programs and also on a healthy diet.  I'm not trying to do any fad diets or crash diets.  This is a lifestyle change for me.  And, I won't go the rest of my life without eating carbs... Sorry, Atkins diet, but you suck.  I really need to start chugging some water today.  It's 5:30 pm and the only thing I've had to drink today is a cup of coffee.

Today's Menu:
Breakfast - Steel Cut Oatmeal with a side of grapes and strawberries
Dinner - A spring salad with chicken and no cheese topped with a bit a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. 
Other (unhealthy) things...


Day 2, 3 & 4:
If we don't talk about it, it didn't happen... right?  Let's just say healthy wasn't in my vocab.

I am planning out my menu and workout regime for the rest of the week.  So, we will see how much that helps. 

Day 5: 
Well, today went better than the last few.  I ate healthy. I feel like I ate a lot because I am so freaking hungry today... but, no junk food!!  I had Spaghetti Squash for dinner.  Which is really good and really easy to make!! 

Here's how I prepare it:
1. Slice the squash lengthwise (this is the hardest part!)
2. Clean out the seeds
3. Put face down on glass dish and cover with some water
4. Cover the dish with some plastic wrap and throw in the microwave for 10 minutes
5. Take out and start pulling the "noodles" away from the squash (This is the funnest part)
6. Put some s'ghetti sauce on it and eat!! 

It's a very low calorie dish.  So eat as much as you want! 

Day 6:
Today was great! I am really starting to feel better and less bloated.  I've been taking my It Works Greens and Fat Fighters and I've been drinking a lot of water.  I am starting to lose my sweet tooth and all my cravings for unhealthy junk.  I've started eating less as well.  I still haven't worked out.  I need to find my motivation for that, yet.  

Day 7:
Healthy food all day and lots of water.
I ate healthy most of the day until this evening.  Almost nothing but carbs for dinner but I took my It Works Fat Fighters which prevent absorption of calories from fat and carbs that you intake. 
 
This wraps the first week.  I didn't do as good as I planned.  But, I tried.  I'm trying every day to change bad habits and do better.  I managed to take my It Works supplements more than I thought I would.  I really really like them! I still need to find a workout program and if I can get my nighttime meals to be healthier and do less snacking, I will be on track to where I want to be!  Lets see what next week brings!
